    Face Makeup

When it comes to cosmetics, you should know two things about your skin. First, overtone. This is your skin color and how light or dark it is. Second, undertones. These are a more subtle chill or warmth that lies behind your overtone. Once you've determined your skin's overtones and undertones, you may select foundation, highlighter, bronzers, face powder, and blushes that match your complexion.

    Concealers & Neutralizers

    • Cover acne and spots with green-toned concealer.
    • For under-eye circles, use a peach-toned concealer.
    • For dry skin and less or more coverage, use a cream or stick concealer.
    • For oily skin and light or full coverage, choose a liquid or balm concealer.
    • To level out your skin tone, use a yellow-toned concealer.

    Blushes

    • Choose plum if you have light skin and cold undertones.
    • For medium complexion with warm undertones, apply a mauve blush.
    • If you have fair skin and warm undertones, go for a peach.
    • For a medium complexion and cool undertones use plums and pinks.

    Bronzers

    • Choose honey or caramel tones for a medium complexion.
    • For a more subtle effect or if you have oily skin, use a matte bronzer.
    • For normal to oily skin, use a powder bronzer.
    • If you have a dark skin tone, go for rich, warm sienna tones.
    • Look for gentle tans and pink tones if you have fair skin.
    • Use a cream or a liquid bronzer if your skin is dry.

    Highlighters

    • Apply a gold highlighter on a medium complexion with warm undertones.
    • For medium complexion with cool undertones, use a peach highlighter.
    • On a fair complexion, use a highlighter with a white shine.
    • Use a rose-gold or bronze highlighter for a dark complexion.

    Face Powder

    • You may choose neutral beiges, rich browns, or tan browns.
    • For dry skin, choose a powder with a silky, almost creamy feel.
    • If you can't find a precise match for your skin tone, go with a translucent powder.
    • Pick a product that offers broad-spectrum sun protection.
    • Powders with absorbent elements such as silica or talc are best for oily skin.

    Facial Contour Creams

    • Choose a cream contour that is slightly darker than your natural skin tone.
    • To select the perfect tone, use a cream contour palette.
    • Experiment with numerous colors before settling on the perfect one.

    Foundation Makeup

    • Consider a foundation with at least an SPF of 15.
    • For dry skin, apply a hydrating liquid foundation.
    • If your skin is prone to breakouts, choose oil-free foundations.
    • Powder-based cosmetics and thick matte foundations should be avoided if you have dry skin.

    Foundation Primers

    • Choose primers that are oil-free, fragrance-free, and paraben-free for sensitive skin.
    • If you have dry skin, look for primers with phrases like "hydrating," "soothing," or "replenishing."
    • If you have oily skin, use a mattifying primer or oil-free formulations.
    • Look for antioxidant-infused foundation primers for aged skin.
