Description

Product Description

We are absolute fanatics about the proper care for our beloved sweaters. Made from a combination of cedar extracts and a concentrated shampoo base, this formula cleans and preserves the natural components of yarns. Yes you can (and you should!) wash your wool and cashmere items. Why dry clean when you can provide better care for your woolens at home, minus the toxins and extra cost?

Our pH-neutral fabric wash is gentle on the fibers of wool, cashmere, merino, mohair, and blends. It thoroughly cleans, removing odor, dirt, and oil, while preserving your sweaters’ soft and supple hand and lanolin for decades to come. Plus, our cedar-based fragrance keeps pests away.

  • Wash wool and cashmere at home in the machine or by hand
  • 16 fl oz
  • Highly concentrated‚Äîup to 32 washes
  • Made in the USA

Did you know...

We consider woolens to include fibers such as sheep’s wool, lamb’s wool, cashmere, merino, pashmina, angora, mohair, camelhair, and alpaca, as well as any wool blends and wool-like synthetics made to look like wool, such as acrylic.

Most wool items labeled “dry clean” are generally launderable, but when an item is labeled “dry clean only,” the best way to care for it between cleanings is to steam and treat with Wool & Cashmere Spray.

To remove wrinkles, we recommend steaming for the best and safest finish. Never iron as ironing will crush or flatten the natural pile of the yarns.

It’s always important to clean woolens before storing, as perfume, body products, body oil, food, and dirt can surface later and be much harder to get out. Before packing, spritz with Wool & Cashmere Spray and place in a breathable fabric, such as The Laundress All-Purpose Storage Bag. Never store using plastic, cardboard, drawer liners, and contact paper, as they all attract bugs and encourage bug reproduction.

Ingredients
